David's Page

I was born in Shelton, Washington October 8, 1946. I then spent the next four years at Children's Orthopedic Hospital in Seattle, WA while the doctors did the majority of the work on my hands. The medical staff wanted to keep me there for life but my parents insisted on bringing me home at the age of 4.

When I got home, I had a vocabulary of 2 words (David and potty). I started school a year late, but graduated from High School in 1965. My childhood years were more or less normal except for more operations until I was 16. After high school I went to Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland Oregon. for three years and to Seattle Pacific College in Seattle, Washington for 3 years where I received a BA in Education in 1971.

During my last year of college, I married Connie whom I have known since childhood. We were married August 14, 1970. After college I taught school for 8.5 years, before going back to school to take a 2 year course in Computer Programming. I have spent the last 16 years working in a Local Bank in their Data Processing Department. We have 1 daughter who is now living on her own in Olympia, Washington.
